Michael H. Loucks, 66, beloved husband, brother and friend, went to be with the Lord on September 14, 2104 after a sudden illness at his home.
He was born May 6, 1948, in Anderson, the son of the late Harry and Grace Loucks. He lived in Anderson all of his life, graduated from Anderson High School in 1967 and had worked at Delco-Remy, Meijer and MCL Cafeteria. He was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus as a 3rd Degree Knight. He enjoyed bowling in many leagues, playing Bingo, following all sports including the Colts, Pacers and the Yankees.
Michael is survived by his devoted wife of 27 years, Theresa E. (Shaffer) Loucks; four sisters, Sally Milne, Judy (Don) Esther, Nancy (Bill) Burt and Kathy (Greg) Miller; his mother-in-law, Betty K. Shaffer, brother-in-law, Tom (Carol) Shaffer; several nieces, nephews; and many special friends at St. Ambrose and St. Mary’s Catholic Churches.
Michael I love you. You will always be my “sweetie” and I’ll always be your “wifey”. Goodbye until I see and kiss you again.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday at St. Ambrose Catholic Church with Father Robert Williams officiating. Cremation will follow.
Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory.
Contributions may be made to St. Ambrose Catholic church or Anderson Knights of Columbus.
