Melvin Jay Filbrun

Melvin Jay Filbrun, 54, Anderson, passed away Monday, May 4, 2015, at Community Hospital of Anderson following an extended illness. He was born on September 18, 1960, in Noblesville, Indiana to Lester and Eunice (Sides) Filbrun. He is survived by three children, Jennifer Garza of Anderson, Steven (wife, Tonya) Filbrun of Anderson, and Carol (husband, Jose) Torres of Carmel; four grandchildren, Krista, Bailey, Brooklyn, and Ashley; his parents, Lester and Eunice (Sides) Filbrun of Anderson; two brothers, Norman (wife, Mary) Filbrun of Anderson and Michael Filbrun of Anderson; three sisters, Veneta (husband, Jed) Denlinger of Wytheville, VA, Julie (husband, Dan) Killion of Anderson, and Sherilee Filbrun of Indianapolis. He was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Katelyn. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of Scott E.
