Melissa Mae Elliott-Rood

Melissa Mae Elliott-Rood, Greenfield (Formerly of Pendleton) passed away on April 7, 2020 at Community North Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born on October 26, 1976 in Anderson, Indiana to Donald and Becki (Auler) Elliott.Melissa graduated from Pendleton Heights High School in 1995. She attended Charleston Southern University on a Softball scholarship, where she graduated in 1999. Melissa had her own business, NexiusScm.me. She worked as a materials manager working with various manufacturing companies. She had a love of antiques and carried that love to furnishing her farmhouse.She is survived by her husband of 15 years, Frank Rood; parents, Donald and Becki Elliott; sister, Shannon (Clark) Spaeth; brother, Nathan Elliott (Tonya); nephew, Tyler Elliott (Autumn); nieces, Natalie Robinson (Nicklaus), Sydnie Spaeth, Kyra Elliott; great nephew, Aiden Robinson. She is also survived by her beloved pet, Toffee, who Melissa loved and spoiled.She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Betty and Cecil Elliott; maternal grandparents, Beverly and Keith Auler, and her cherished black lab, Bo.A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.Arrangements entrusted to Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory – Lahm Chapel..
