Melissa A. Mcclintick

Melissa A. "Missy" McClintick, 48, Lapel, passed away Friday, August 22, 2014, at Alexandria Care Center following an extended illness. She was born on December 4, 1965, in Anderson, Indiana to Stephen and Gloria (Johnson) McClintick. She graduated from Lapel High School in 1984. She was a softball player in her younger days and enjoyed catching for the team and even coached teams after high school. She is survived by her daughter, Shelby Loveless of Anderson; one grandson, Blake Loveless; her mother, Gloria J. (husband, Rick) Woodward of Pendleton; her step-father, Doug Stalker of Anderson; two brothers, Stephen W. McClintick (friend, Jahn) of Florida and Ted A. (wife, Natalie) McClintick of Lapel; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father. Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm Sunday, August 24, 2014, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel. Private burial will be in Brookside Cemetery at a later date.
