Melba R. King Crim, 91 of Anderson, passed away peacefully on June 2, 2015 at Prairie Lakes Health Campus in Noblesville.
She was born in Walnut Ridge, Ark. on October 12, 1923, to the late Monte and Lydia (Hathcoat) Kellow. She has resided in Anderson since 1937 and was retired from Delco-Remy.
She was a member of the Lindberg Road Church of Christ and Columbus Avenue Church of Christ.
She is survived by her husband, Dwight O. Crim of Anderson; six children, Donetta (Terry) McKinnon of Pendleton, Barry (Becky) King of Anderson, Rebecca King of Anderson, Tricia (Michael) Gale of Colorado Springs, CO, Cathy (Nick) Kirk of Fishers, IN, Julie (Stan) Clark of Lapel; three step children, Wendell (Eva) Crim of Seabeck, WA, Vivian Ann (Ty) Sharp of Kilgore, TX, Rich (Karen) Crim of Clemons, N.C. eighteen grandchildren, Christi Thompson, Kevin Thompson, Kelli Whitehead, Robin Heasley, Tiffany Longstreth, Brady King, Hillary Connolly, Katie Driml, Abby Kirk, Olivia Kirk, Jackson Kirk, Nathan Clark, Nolan Clark, Noah Clark, Zachary Sharp, Mackenzie Cheman, Evan Crim and Hannah Crim; fifteen great grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Betty Kellow and Margaret King; several nieces and nephews; also surviving is Shelly Chamberlain of Anderson.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Donald E. King; sister, LaVerne Toombs; two brothers, J.C. Kellow and Bud Kellow.
Services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory with Charlie Soden officiating. Burial will be in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
