Max E. Bodenhorn

Max E. Bodenhorn, 87, Lapel, passed away Saturday, November 3, 2007, at the Transitional Care Unit of Riverview Hospital in Noblesville following an extended illness.
He was born on August 15, 1920, in Lapel, Indiana to Edward and Elma Pearl (Heiny) Bodenhorn.
Max retired in 1989 from Delco Remy after over 48 years of employment.
He attended Fishersburg Wesleyan Church and was a W. W. II Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Charmene (Mattox) Bodenhorn; one daughter, Krista (husband, Tim) Compton of Noblesville; and two grandchildren, Josh and Alyson Compton.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel with Rev. Raymond Hood officiating. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery, Lapel.
Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm Tuesday at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel.
