Maurice Eugene Sonny Davis

Maurice Eugene Sonny Davis, 67, Elwood, passed away Sunday, December 16, 2007, at Seton Specialty Hospital in Indianapolis following a brief illness.
He was born on August 29, 1940, in Noblesville, Indiana to Marshall and Lola Davis.
Maurice retired from Firestone Rubber Company in Noblesville.
He attended Perkinsville Community Church.
He is survived by his wife, Michelle Lynette (Schoettmer) Davis; one son, Terry Davis of Noblesville; one sister, Darlene (husband, Merle) Mise of Noblesville; two brothers, Galen "Bud" Davis and Kenneth Davis both of Noblesville.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral service will be held at 10:30 am Friday at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel with Rev. Mark Aleshire officiating. Burial will follow in Perkinsville Cemetery, Anderson.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Thursday at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel.
