With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Maryann Eades, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, who left us peacefully at the age of 81. Maryann passed away on January 10, 2025, surrounded by her family, a reflection of the countless lives she touched with her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love.
Maryann was born in 1943, and throughout her life, she dedicated herself to the people she loved. Her selflessness and compassion were evident in every role she played. As a wife, she was devoted and steadfast, providing her partner with love and support through every chapter of their journey together. As a mother, she raised her children with care and patience, always putting their needs before her own and teaching them the values of kindness, respect, and resilience.
She was a cherished grandmother, showering her grandchildren with affection, laughter, and memories they will forever hold dear. Her love for her family knew no bounds, and she made sure that those around her always felt heard, valued, and loved.
Maryann was also a wonderful sister, offering her siblings a source of comfort and guidance throughout their lives. Her ability to listen, her calming presence, and her compassionate nature made her a pillar of strength for everyone fortunate enough to know her.
An avid quilter, Maryann had a passion for creating beauty through her hands. Her quilts, crafted with love and care, were more than just fabric and thread; they were pieces of her heart. She found joy in sharing these creations with others, knowing they would bring warmth and comfort to those who received them. Her quilting was not just a hobby, but a reflection of the love she poured into every aspect of her life.
Maryann's legacy of love, generosity, and warmth will live on through her family and all those whose lives she touched. She was a beacon of kindness, an example of selflessness, and a reminder of the beauty in everyday moments.
She is survived by her children Brenda Bankston (Percy), Sharon, and Brian Eades (Grace); grandchildren Jeffrey Eades (Caitlin), Jennifer McKay (Michael), Garrett and Delaney Bankston; sister Elaine Green, and countless other relatives and friends who will miss her deeply. Preceded in death by husband Leland; parents Mary and Matthew Masucci; siblings Nancy Neptune, Leona Dickson, Matthew (Sonny) Masuccio.
A visitation will be held at Bozell Funeral Homes Lahm Chapel, 211 East State Street, Pendleton, Indiana 46064 on Tuesday, January 14th from 9:00am-11:00am, where we will gather to honor her memory and share the many stories of her beautiful life. A funeral service will follow visitation at 11:00am, with Pastor Tom Wiles officiating. Burial will conclude services at Orchard Hill Cemetery in Wanamaker, Indiana.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hopewell Center, Inc. in Maryann's memory, a cause that was close to her heart.
Rest in peace, Maryann. You will forever be loved, cherished, and remembered.
