Mary V. Cockey, 97, Anderson, passed away March 31, 2015 at Countryside Manor Health Care after an extended illness.
She was born August 24, 1917, in West Lebanon, IN, the daughter of the late Emmett R and Golda I (Pearson) Bonebrake. She lived most of her life in Hemet, CA and retired from Bethlaham Steel in 1969 after 23 years.
Survivors include her brother, Emmett E. Bonebrake of Crawfordsville; a brother-in-law, J. Harold Berkshire of Anderson and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jackson “Rip” Cockey; one sister and one brother, Betty L. Berkshire and William E. Bonebrake.
A private family graveside service will be conducted.
