Mary M. Harger

Mary M. Harger, 77, Noblesville, passed away Thursday, October 23, 2008, at the Transitional Care Unit of Riverview Hospital in Noblesville following a brief illness.
She was born on September 17, 1931, in Lapel, Indiana to William and Nancy Ruth (Galliher) Barbee.
She graduated from Lapel High School in 1949.
Mary retired in 1985 from Firestone Industrial Products in Noblesville after 34 years of employment.
She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Lapel; Central Indiana Airstream Club; and the Euchrettes Card Club
She is survived by her husband, Leroy E. Harger; three children, Loretta (husband, Phil) McDowell of Sheridan, Ritch Harger of Noblesville, and Kris (husband, Mike) Blackburn of Fishers; two grandchildren, Ryan and Katelyn Blackburn; four brothers and sisters, Sally (husband, Bill) Linkenhoker of Savannah, GA, James (wife, Carol) Barbee of Noblesville, Frank (wife, Juanita) Barbee of Valdosta, GA, and Judy Stringer of Savannah, GA; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Marie Heater, and Barbara Harrison; and three brothers, Sherman Barbee, John Barbee, and Leroy Barbee.
Funeral service will be held at 10:30 am Monday, October 27, 2008, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel with Pastor Doug Barton officiating. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery, Lapel.
Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm Sunday, October 26, 2008, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel.
