Mary Louise Cecil

Mary Louise Cecil, 71, Lapel, passed away Sunday October 27, 2002, at Saint John's Health System in Anderson after a sudden illness. She was born on October 2, 1931, in Brockway, Pennsylvania to Ellis and Edith (Scott) Hormell. She retired in 1995 from Riverview Hospital in Noblesville after being employed for 40 years as a registered nurse. She was a member of Ford Street United Methodist Church in Lapel and the Indiana Nurses Association. She is survived by her husband, William P. Cecil; three sons, William E. (wife, Susan) Cecil of Lapel, Scott Cecil of Indianapolis, and Paul Cecil of Pendleton; one brother, William (wife, Linda) Hormell of Lapel; and a granddaughter, Bailee Cecil. She was preceded in death by her parents. Services will be held at 10:30 AM Friday at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel with Rev. Mark Helm officiating. Burial will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Fishers. Friends may call from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday at the Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel.
