Mary L. Luzader

Mary L. Luzader, 93, Anderson, passed away November 4, 2016, at her residence after an extended illness. She was born October 28, 1923, in Boone County, the daughter of the late Chauncey and Elizabeth Crawford. She was an R N at St. John’s Medical Center for 21 years retiring in 1985. Mary was a member of East Lynn Christian Church, Life member of the Order of Eastern Star Chapter #154 and the Victoria Guild at St. John’s Medical Center, Indiana State Nurses Association, Alumni Association of the Methodist Hospital School of Nursing in Indianapolis, Indianapolis Jazz Club and the Harter House Isabel Society. She also was a donor to the Riley Cancer Research for Children and numerous other organizations. Mary is survived by her three children, Sandra Sue McKay, Kerry Lee (Judy) Luzader and Phyllis Jean (Tim) Sheldon all of Anderson; four grandchildren, Tammy (Jay) Bilbrey Terry, Derrick (Sarah) Luzader, Maggie McKay, Justin (Jenna) Sheldon and several great and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Luzader and three brothers and one sister. A Private graveside service will be conducted by the family. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society or East Lynn Christian Church.
