Mary Elizabeth Cole

Mary Elizabeth Cole, 92, of New Castle, passed away on April 26, 2020 at Hickory Creek Nursing Home in New Castle. She was born on June 30, 1927 in Beggs, Oklahoma to the late Delmar and Anna (Zellar) Wesley. Mary graduated from Cadiz High School in 1946. She married Charles Cole on November 25, 1948. She was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family. She was a member of Kennard Christian Church, and enjoyed gardening and traveling. Mary is survived by her husband, Charles Cole of New Castle; children, Susan Coomer of Kennard, Kathy Fox of Kennard, Jeff (Nancy) Cole of Greenfield, James (Brylene) Cole of Greenfield; sister, Jean Nelson; grandchildren, Brian (Brandy Walters) Cole of New Castle, Erin Fox of Kennard, Megan Fox of Murphysboro, Illinois; great grandchildren, Keenan, Korban, Kyran, Reece, Ellis, Bellamy, Alison, Madison; one nephew and four nieces. The family would like to thank Hickory Creek Nursing Home for all of their loving care and compassion. A Private Family Farewell will be held with graveside service at McCray Cemetery in Wilkinson. Arrangements have been entrusted to Condo and St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory.
