Mary D. Schuyler

Mary D. Schuyler, 77, West Monroe, Louisiana, died on November 26, 2014, at Lenoir Woods in Columbia, Missouri.

She was born in Anderson and attended schools, graduating from Anderson High School. She played the cello in the AHS Orchestra and also played the piano and organ. She married Danny D. Schuyler and started a family then moved to West Monroe, LA with GM in 1976. Mary enjoyed cooking, sewing, cross stitching and caring for her family. She also enjoyed attending musical programs, playing bridge and in recent years working sudoku puzzles.
rShe is survived by her husband of 57 years, Danny D. Schuyler of West Monroe, LA; two sons, Dwight D. (wife-Shari) Schuyler of Columbia, MO and Douglas A. Schuyler of Orlando, FL; two grandchildren, Jared B. Schuyler of Columbia, Mo and Ashley N. Schuyler of Fairview, Kansas.

She was preceded in death by her mother and two brothers, Bernice K. Day, William Dorsey and Benjamin Dorsey.

A graveside service will be at 2:00 P.M. Monday, December 1, 2014 at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor Jeff Taylor officiating.

Friends may call from 10:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. on Monday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory.
