Mary D. Bowlin

Mary D. Bowlin, 77, of Anderson, passed away on April 6, 2017 at Avon Health and Rehabilitation Center after an extended illness. She was born in Anderson on July 26, 1939 to the late Clarence and Ellen Doris (Catt) Boyd. She graduated from Anderson High School Class of 1958 and Ball State University. Mary worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse for 40 years, retiring in 2002. She was a member of Muncie Church of God and then Mount Tabor Church of God. She is survived by her son, Toby Bowlin (companion, Alicia Berry) of Indianapolis; two daughters, Trisha (husband, Clay) Cramer of Danville and Valerie Vandervoort of Indianapolis; grandchildren, McKenna Cramer, Knox Cramer, Jenea Bowlin (companion, Dallas Mitchell) and Josh (wife, Becca) Bowlin; five great grandchildren; two sisters, Christine Davis and Patricia Junkersfeld both of Anderson; two brothers, Steve Boyd and Phil Boyd both of Anderson and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Billy E. Bowlin; and two brothers, Michael Boyd and Gary Boyd. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory with Rev. Mike Weber officiating. Burial will be in Park View Cemetery in Alexandria.
