Mary Jo Beaty

It is with deep sorrow and immense gratitude for her beautiful life, that we announce the passing of Mary Jo Beaty. Mary peacefully passed away in the morning hours of February 11, 2025, surrounded by her loving family at her home.

 Mary Jo was born on July 2, 1951, in Muncie, Indiana and from a young age, she embraced life with a zest and curiosity that defined her for the rest of her years. She found forever when she married, Conley Allen Beaty, on November 25, 1978. As a devoted mother of four, Mary Jo poured her heart and soul into her children-Kelly (late, Richard Brickley), Kerry, Tony, and Nick (wife, Ashley). In addition to being a loving mother, Mary Jo was a proud grandmother to her precious grandchildren and great grandchildren- Stephanie, Stachia, Emily, Aleah, Alaina, Matthew, Maddox, Logan, Kadence, Ivy, Ruby, Declan, Savannah, Alexandra, Jasper, Knox, Hank, and Evie. Her joy was immeasurable when they were near. Her love for family was only matched by the love for her friends Cindy and Steve Badders.

 She found peace in the simple joys of life-a familiar song, the smell of the day's first coffee, and playing cards with friends late into the night. These moments of quiet beauty were treasures she held dear, and she shared them with Conley Allen, her loving husband of forty six years.

Mary Jo was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Marie Ellis (Baker) and her dearly missed son, Tony, who now embrace her in the warmth of God's everlasting love.
