Mary Anne Wittrock Bock passed away on November 14, 2020 in Anderson, Indiana. The daughter of Edward and Louisa Wittrock, she was born on October 17, 1931 in Falls City, Nebraska. Mary Anne was a life-long Cornhusker football fan and a proud graduate of the University of Nebraska. She served a one year internship in Seattle, Washington to earn certification as a dietician and then worked in a hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. She married Franklin Bock in 1956. After his graduation from University of Nebraska in 1960, they moved to Anderson when he was hired by Delco-Remy. A loving sister, mother and grandmother, Mary Anne enjoyed taking care of children throughout her life. A member of Christ Lutheran Church, she played piano for Sunday School and assisted with Vacation Bible School. After her children grew up, she was a teaching assistant in Pendleton Community Schools for several years. Mary Anne is survived by son, Daniel Bock; daughter and son-in-law, Anne and John Cecere; grandsons, Michael and Paul Cecere; sisters, Barbara Cornelson and Rachel Eggleston; brothers, Edward and David Wittrock; and sister-in-law, Phyllis Wittrock. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Frank, and infant son David. A private graveside service, officiated by Reverend John Jameson, was held on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
