Mary Ann Salisbury

Mary Ann Salisbury, age 88, of Anderson, passed away Friday, November 20, 2020 at her residence. Mary Ann was born September 22, 1932 to Clarence and Minnie (Porter) Shuck. She lived in Arcadia for 15 years, then returned to Anderson 1967. She worked for Firestone in Noblesville in production, retiring in 1982. Mary Ann was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church, Madison County Literacy Coalition and Order of the Eastern Star. Survivors include her son, Gene (Wife, Rita) Schildmeier; daughter Donna Schildmeier; 2 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren; step-son John Salisbury, Crest Hill, Illinois; step-daughter, Virginia (husband, Steve) Procise, Waupun, Wisconsin; and sister-in-law, Ida Shuck. Mary Ann was preceded in death by her husband Arthur Salisbury. She was the last of her siblings who preceded her in death, Harry Shuck, William Shuck, Betty Paul Allen, James Shuck, Doris Eutsler Cox, and Herbert Shuck. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Services and Crematory, 515 E. 53rd Street, Anderson, Indiana 46013. Visitation for friends will be from 11:00 a.m. till 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery. Family request in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bethel United Methodist Church Youth Summer Camp Fund, 4011 W. 200 S, Anderson, Indiana 46011 or the Madison County Literacy Coalition, 501 W 8th St, Anderson, IN 46016. Her family would like to give special thanks of appreciation to the St. Vincent Hospice Team and especially Candice Hull. Also a special thanks to Ascera Hospice. Due to COVID 19 mandates, all guest are required to wear face coverings and practice social distancing at visitation and services.
