Mary A. Orick

Mary A. Orick, 90, of Anderson, passed away on March 22, 2022 at Bethany Pointe. She was born on August 11, 1931 in Middlesboro, Kentucky to the late Josh and Cora (Poore) Turner. She was married to her late husband, James B. Orick, for 65 years.
Mary was an amazing homemaker. She enjoyed cooking and taking care of her family. Everyone always felt welcomed at her home.
Mary will be dearly missed by her children, James R. Orick, Kathryn Y. Stoops, and Patty (David) Morgan; her grandchildren, Jason Orick, David (Sarah) Orick, Shannon (Brandy) Orick, Kory Crawford, and Ryan Morgan; her great-grandchildren, Mandy, Michael, Jacquelyn, Jagger, Alex, Abram, Preston Orick, Rylie Morgan, Konnor, and Kamryn Crawford; her great-great-grandchildren, Kinley and Sarah; and her sister, Gladys Hiatt.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Bethany Pointe for all their love and support.
A private funeral ceremony will be conducted. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mary’s name may be gifted to Make-A-Wish or Riley Children’s Foundation.
