Marvin Eugene Carmany, 89, of Markleville, passed away on June 24, 2020 at St. Vincent Hospital in Anderson. He was born on December 26, 1930 in Anderson to the late Verbian and Edith (Baker) Carmany. Marvin retired in 1987 from Delco Remy as a Tool Maker. He was a member of Fall Creek Christian Church and the Markleville Masonic Lodge where he was a past Chaplain. He is survived by his children, Sharon Laws, Linda Kreigh (Imon Bankson), Wayne (Melissa) Carmany; grandchildren, Daniel (Causha) Hoover, Angela (Luke) Schierholz, Brandy (Travis) Smith, Erik Kreigh, Amanda(Blake) Ludwig, Amy (Kyle) Carmany, Ashley (Mike) Forgus; great grandchildren, Danielle Hoover, Bryce Hoover, Rheya Schierholz, Atticus Schierholz, Ethan Motsinger, Oliver Motsinger, Colton Smith, Avery Forgus, Maverick Forgus, Addison Ludwig; sisters, Katie Wallace, Judy Graham and one brother, Fred Carmany. Marvin was preceded in death by his parents; wife Carolyn Carmany in 2015; brother, Elroy Carmany, and a grandchild, Sarah Laws. A graveside service will be held on Monday at 11:00 am at McCray Cemetery, Wilkinson.
