Marvin Doyle Williams, 75, Anderson, passed away at I.U. Ball Memorial Hospital. He was born in Anderson February 26, 1944 to Virgil and Bernice (Hall) Williams. Marvin retired after 46 years as a fork lift operator at Elston Richards. He was a man of all trades and enjoyed watching all sports. Marvin is survived by his wife Pat (Carpenter) Williams, who he married, July 20, 1963; son, Doyle Williams; daughter Lisa Waters; one grandson, Dustin Nictum; brother Melvin Williams; sisters Darlene Chapin Burke, and Joyce Shaw; and special pal Sophie; Also survived by several nieces and nephews, special cousins, and all their special friends. Visitation will be Sunday, September 29, 2019, at Brown –Butz- Diedring Funeral Services and Crematory, 515 E. 53rd Street, Anderson, from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. Services to celebrate the life of Marvin will be 1 pm Monday, September 30, 2019, with Reverend Bob Henderson officiating. Friends may also call one hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
