Martha Ann Carpenter

Martha Ann Carpenter, 84, of Anderson, passed away on August 29, 2023, in Indianapolis, IN surrounded by family and loved ones.  Martha was born on June 5, 1939, in Anderson to the late J. Robert Goff and Martha Ann (Sheetz) Goff.

In Martha’s life she worked as a hairdresser.  She attended the Central Christian Church to worship her lord and savior.  For fun she loved to go to the casino and play on the penny slots.  But the thing that Martha loved the most was her family, especially her grandkids and great-grandkids.

She is survived by her loving husband, Mike Carpenter; sons, Michael and Lance Carpenter; daughter, Carol Edwards; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and 7 lovely nurses that took care of her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and her son, Chad Carpenter.
