Marlene R. Hendrickson

Marlene R. Paddock-Hendrickson, 74, of Anderson, passed away on Friday, November 22, 2024, at Community Hospital in Anderson. 

She was born on May 1, 1950, in Anderson, Indiana to Clifton B and Frances Wanita (Etchison) Paddock. She was a 1968 graduate of Frankton High School. 

She retired from the Department of Children's Services in Madison County after 40+ years of service. She enjoyed and found her spiritual home at Anderson Alliance Church. She was often involved with the Red Hats. She loved her family and friends dearly. She especially enjoyed babysitting. She was a lifetime member of the 4H in Madison County.

Marlene is survived by her daughter, Danielle (Courtney McCullough) Cluxton; two grandchildren, Ryit and Kye; three siblings, Daniel (Tami) Paddock, David Paddock and Peggy (Frank) Klejmont; nieces and nephews, Cam Paddock, Landon Paddock, Anna-Marie Gable, Krysten Klejmont and Cinch Paddock; and special friends, Rixena Toombs, Rhonda Boerner-Hall and Virginia Rively.

She was preceded in death by her parents and Buffy. 

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at Anderson Alliance Church, 3102 West Cross Street, Anderson, Indiana 46011 with Pastor Jim Turner officiating. Cremation will take place. 

Visitation will be from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at the church. 

Memorial contributions may be made to Madison County SPCA Humane, Memorial Contribution, 2219 Crystal Street, Anderson, Indiana 46012.
