Mark Kumkoski

Mark A. Kumkoski, 48, of Anderson, passed away June 27, 2016 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis after a brief illness.

He was born on May 22, 1968 in Indianapolis. He graduated from St. Mary Catholic School and Highland High School and attended Ball State University. He worked in Home Construction and lived most of his life in Anderson.

Mark enjoyed bowling at Brown’s and was good in sports at St. Mary Catholic School. He enjoyed playing basketball and was a Colts fan.

He is survived by his son, Chase (Aspen) Kumkoski of Anderson; and additional family members including, Brandy Neff, Tammy and Greg Vanzo, Scott Vanzo, Rosemary Wyatt, Mike and Judy Perry and the Perry family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Donna Kumkoski; and his son, Alexander Kumkoski.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 1:00 p.m. Friday at St. Mary Catholic Church with Fr. Daniel Shine officiating. Burial will be in East Maplewood Cemetery.

Visitation will be 11:00-1:00 p.m. on Friday at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
