Mark Adrian Jones

Mark Adrian Jones, 75, of Anderson, passed away on April 4, 2020 at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital. He was born on November 25, 1944 in Bakersfield, California to the late William Enoch and Myrtle (Nicholson) Jones. Mark was a professional trumpet player in Hollywood, Las Vegas, and Phoenix. He taught school for several years in Pendleton and Phoenix before becoming a nurse. For 30 years he worked in Indianapolis at St. Vincent Hospital and Heart Hospital in the Coronary Intensive Care Unit. He also worked in Anderson at St. John’s Hospital in the I.C.U. and emergency room. He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church. He is survived by his wife, Christina (Stahl) Jones of Anderson; daughters, Jayna (fiancé, Christopher Guffey) Jones of Anderson, Jinika (Jeremy) Jones-DeHaven of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Jayden Jones, Carlayna Jones, Emily Guffey and special friend/brother in-law, Lt. Col. Steve (wife, Peggy) Stahl, USAF (ret.). Mark was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Kerri Jones, and grandson, Nikolas Jones. Memorial Service to be announced at a later date.
