Marjorie Lee Massey, 79, passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2021, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born September 24, 1941 in Anderson to the late John Edgar & Alma (Dolenski) Conner. Marjorie graduated from Highland High School in 1959, then attended Indiana Business College. Along with her family she co-owned Edmondson Carpet Cleaning. She was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church. She had been a past member of Alpha Lambda and Psi Sigma. Marjorie enjoyed shopping, attending sporting events such as Notre Dame Basketball & Fever Basketball, but mostly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and attending any sports and activities they participated in. Family gatherings were important especially the monthly luncheons with her cousins. “Do you have any poppy seed dressing?” Marjorie is survived by her husband of 55 years, William “Bill” Lee Massey; children, Angie (Rebecca Mullen) Bostic, John (wife, Tracy) Massey, and April (husband, John) Faust; grandchildren, Kelsi Bostic, Taylor, Andrew, & Madison Faust, and Reece Massey; sister, Joanna D. Gavin; former son-in-law, Darrin Bostic; and caregiver, Pam Fadely. She was preceded in death by her brother, Randall Conner. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, February 13, at 10 am at St. Ambrose Catholic Church with Father Tom Metzger officiating. Burial will be Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 am until the time of the services at the church. Due to recent COVID-19 mandates, a limited number of guests are allowed entry at a time, masks are required, and social distancing must be practiced. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Ambrose Catholic Church.
