Marilyn Pertz

Marilyn Pertz, 92, of Anderson, passed away June 23, 2018 at Countryside Manor. Marilyn was born Nov. 8, 1925, in Kokomo, the daughter of the late, Russell and Ednal Morrow. She had been a resident of Indianapolis until 2008 when she moved to Anderson. She was a homemaker and a member of Central Christian Church. Marilyn enjoyed playing cards, cooking, doting on her nieces and nephews, and her annual Christmas party. She is survived by a brother, Allen (Doris) Morrow; niece, Cathy Harvey; nephew, Kenneth Morrow; great nieces and nephew, Stephanie Dreher, Bradley Hancock and Lauren Rohling; two great-great nieces and 4 great-great nephews; a cousin, Gary Shockney; and special friends, Roger Krall, Peggy Zion and Jody Banker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Pertz; and a brother, Jack Ryan. Funeral service will be 11 am, Friday, at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory with Pastor Rick Vale officiating. Burial will follow at the Spring Vale Cemetery in Lafayette. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
