CINCINNATI- Marianne Kiely, 65, formally of Anderson, passed away September 10, 2020, following a brief illness. Marianne was born November 10, 1954, in Marion, IN, the daughter of the late William and Mary Kiely. She was a 1972 graduate of Anderson High School and a 1976 graduate of Ball State University with a bachelors’ degree in sales and marketing. Marianne had a successful career in the business world, working with several retail companies and as a government affairs representative for a large law firm. She retired from Altria Corporate Services as Director of Constituency Outreach. She later started and owned her own retail store Everything’dVine in Cincinnati. Marianne served her community by being a board member of Keep Cincinnati Beautiful, the Freestore Food Bank, both of Cincinnati, and the OSU Task Force on Campus Activities. She enjoyed her work, going to the beach, and working to rescue dogs, especially beagles. Marianne is survived by her brothers, Mike (Marie) Kiely and Patrick (Mary Pat) Kiely; nieces, Angie Kiely (Zach) Light, Shannon Kiely (Neil) Heider; nephews, Ryan (Vanessa) Kiely, Sean (Ana) Kiely and Jeff (LaTrisha) Kiely. A celebration of her life will be at 1 p.m., Tuesday, September 22, at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service and Crematory, with Father David Hellmann officiating. Inurnment will follow at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers please consider Hamilton Humane Society at Hamiltonhumane.com
