Margaret Boyd

Margaret Boyd, 94, Pendleton, passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2018, at her home following a brief illness.
She was born on December 5, 1923, in Pyrmont to Bernice and Ruth (Stoner) Long.
Margaret was a member of the Old German Baptist Brethren.
She is survived by five children, Roger (Bonnie) Boyd, Kevin (Vicky) Boyd, Norma (Roger) Rapp. Anna Marie (Raymond) Oyler, and Melinda (Larry) Filbrun; twenty grandchildren; fifty-one great-grandchildren; one brother; and five sisters.
Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Boyd; one grandson; one great-grandson; two brothers; and two sisters.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Sunday, at the Old German Baptist Brethren Church, 600 West and 400 South, Anderson. Burial will follow in Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Saturday, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 Main Street, Lapel.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent Hospice.
