Marc William Brown

Marc William Brown, beloved son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away at 58 years old on August 12, 2023, in Fishers, Indiana, following an extended illness. Born at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, Indiana, he was the son of the late Ronald W. Brown and Barbara (Brown) Rohrbacher.

Raised in Anderson, Indiana, Marc graduated from Anderson High School in 1983, laying the foundation for a life of achievement and warmth. He excelled in the finance department of the automotive industry, amassing accolades and sales awards that reflected his dedication and skill.

Known for his genuine and approachable nature, Marc effortlessly formed deep connections with others. A passionate sports enthusiast with a quick wit, he spread joy wherever he went, embracing life with a heart of gold and boundless generosity.

Marc’s selflessness shone through in his family relationships, particularly as a devoted and caring uncle. His infectious laughter, jokes, and kind-hearted nature left a lasting impact on all who knew him.

He is survived by his loving wife, Kathy Powers Brown; daughter, Lyndsi Thompson (Justin); son, Sam Brown; granddaughter, Amelia Thompson; sister, Melanie Woodard (Bob); brother, Mike Brown (Jeanne); nieces and nephews: Jacqueline Brown, Shelby Woodard, Heather Brown, Mackenzie Woodard, and Tyler Woodard. He is also mourned by his childhood friend, Trent Shannon.

Marc was preceded in death by his grandparents and step-father, George Rohrbacher.

Marc’s legacy radiates warmth, joy, and kindness. He touched countless lives, leaving an indelible mark on all fortunate enough to know him. His humor, sporting spirit, and shared moments will forever live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and those touched by his presence.

A celebration of Marc’s life will take place on Sunday August 27th at Edgewood Golf Club from 3:00-5:30pm, uniting friends and family to reminisce, share laughter, and honor a life well-lived.

And in the spirit of his infectious humor and joyful outlook, we bid farewell to Marc with the words of Looney Tunes: ” Th-Th-The, Th-Th-The, Th-Th… That’s all, folks!”
