Mamie Cook

Mamie Cook, 94, Lapel, passed away Sunday February 16, 2003, at Harbour Manor Care Center in Noblesville following a brief illness. She was born on January 20, 1909, in Lapel, Indiana to Walter and Lillie (Ketter) Branderburg. She retired in 1969 from Delco Remy in Anderson after 41 years of employment. She was a member of Ford Street United Methodist Church, a member and past Matron of the former Lapel Order of Eastern Star Chapter 457, a member of the Past Matrons Club, and a member of UAW Local 662. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Cook in 1955, her parents, and seven brothers and sisters. Services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel with Rev. Mark Helm officiating. Burial will be at the Brookside Cemetery, Lapel. Friends may call from 12:00 noon until the service on Thursday at the Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ford Street United Methodist Church, P. O.
