Madonna Neff, 98, of Anderson, passed away Friday, January 29, 2016 at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital.
She was born January 27, 1918 in Anderson to the late Arthur and Ruth (Whisler) Johnson. She worked as a beautician for 30 years.
She is a member of St. Matthew United Methodist Church and was active in the Women’s Circle.
Madonna was an avid Pacer fan and loved to knit and crochet. She made beautiful afghans and used her gift to knit prayer cloths for St. Vincent Hospital Care Units. She was a very loving grandmother and showed all of her grandchildren the meaning of love.
She is survived by three daughters, Jo Ann Stoops of Anderson; Marcia (husband, Jerry) Schwan of Crystal Lake, IL; and Karen (husband, Mike) Wulle of Anderson; 7 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren; cousin, Virginia Callaway of Anderson; and sister in law, Loree Simpson of Kokomo.
She was preceded in death by husband, Bruce Neff; sister, Florence Heaton.
The family would like to thank the staff at Legacy at Bethany Pointe for their exceptional care.
Services will be 2:00 pm Tuesday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory. Burial will be in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be 12-2 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
