Madonna Jean Addison

Madonna Jean (Cook) Addison, 93, Carmel, passed away on September 24, 2022 at her residence.  She was born on February 15, 1929 in Shirley, Indiana. She was the child of the late Gertie (Hicks) and Ora Cook.

Madonna and Gene met at Wilkinson High School and were sweethearts forever. They recently celebrated 75 years of marriage in August 2022. She was a gifted homemaker and dedicated to loving her family.

She is survived by her husband, Gene Addison; children, Vicki Addison of Fishers, Teri (John) Moenning of Noblesville, Brad (Diane) Addison of Noblesville; grandchildren, Ashlee Moenning, Kilee (Tim) Jansen, John Moenning, Grayden Addison, Garrick Addison, Samantha Addison; great grandchildren, Kinlee, Adlee, Blakelee; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Madonna was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Thomas Cook Addison; sisters, Christine Cook Hunnicutt and Kathleen Cook Collier.

A private graveside service will be held at McCray Cemetery.
