M Janice Hoover

M. Janice (Blake) Hoover, 72, Noblesville, passed away Feb. 21, 2006, at The Hearth of Windemere in Fishers following an extended illness. She was born on June 27, 1933, in Lapel, the daughter of Scott and Margaret (Snyder) Blake. She was a member of the Ford Street United Methodist Church, and the former Lapel Order of Eastern Star Chapter 457. She had also been active with the Lapel Jobs Daughters Bethel. She is survived by three children, Brian (wife, Lisa) Hoover of Fishers, Dawn Chaudion of Indianapolis, and Deanna Hoover of Colorado; two brothers, Scott Blake II of Florida, and Tony (wife, Deborah) Blake of Munster; her mother-in-law, Bernice Hoover of Noblesville; and five grandchildren, Alison Hoover, Erika Hoover, Nathan Hoover, Andrea (husband, Sam) Pierce and Rusty Chaudion. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Hoover; her parents; a sister, Sandra; and her father-in-law, Raymond Hoover. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel with the Rev. Harold Scott officiating. Burial will be in Brookside Cemetery in Lapel. Visitation will be 4 to 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
