M. Eloise Hon, 91, of Greenfield, passed away June 30, 2018 at Hancock Regional Hospital in Greenfield.She was born June 1, 1927 in Chesterfield, Indiana and was an Indianapolis resident most of her life.Eloise retired from the Veterans Administration Regional Office in Indianapolis in 1982 following 22 years service. She also served 22 years at Child Evangelism Fellowship where she supervised teacher training and the holding of Good News Clubs for children as well as serving as Indiana State Representative. Eloise was a member of Shadeland Baptist Church, Indianapolis. She was a graduate of Moody Bible Institute and received her Master of Religious Education degree.Survivors include her sister and brother-in-law, Loisann and John Haron of Alexandria; three nieces, Linda Prophet, Beth Dent and Connie Davenport; two nephews, Tony Haron and Kevin Thompson; several great nieces and great nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents, Orville Edward and Mary Gertrude (Boner) Hon; and a sister and brother-in-law, Doris Lee and Harold Thompson.A service will be held at 3 p.m., Thursday, July 5, 2018 at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Lahm Chapel, Pendleton, Indiana 46064 with Brother George Seats officiating. Burial in Bronnenberg Cemetery, Chesterfield, Indiana. Visitation from 1 to 3 p.m., Thursday, July 5, 2018 at Lahm Chapel, Pendleton.Memorial contributions may be made to Child Evangelism Fellowship, P.O. Box 276, Westfield, IN 46071.
