Lynn V. Stafford

Lynn V. Stafford, 61, Fortville, passed away Monday January 6, 2003, at Saint Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis following a sudden illness.
He was born on July 11, 1941, in Washington, Indiana to Ralph and Anna (Vance) Stafford.
He had been employed by American States Insurance and was currently working as a private computer programmer/analyst.
He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and the Washington Masonic Lodge.
He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Diana (Heiny) Stafford; five children, Perry (wife, Christine) Stafford of Green Bay, Wisconsin, Bryan Stafford of Dutch Harbor, Alaska, Kevin Stafford of Corpus Christi, Texas, Kimberly (husband, Robert) Hirsh of Houston, Texas, and Jennifer Stafford of Bloomington; two sisters, Betty (husband, Kenneth) McClellan of Washington, and Wilma Courtney of Newberry; five grandchildren Perry Stafford, Jr., Zachry Stafford, Ashley Stafford, Mason Stafford, and Emily Hirsh.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister Dorothy Smith.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel with Rev. Evan Lash officiating. Burial will be at the Brookside Cemetery, Lapel.
Friends may call from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday and one hour prior to the service Thursday at the Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the American Cancer Society.
