Lula Mae Lou McDonald, 73, Fishers, passed away Thursday, October 9, 2008, at The Indiana Heart Hospital in Indianapolis following a sudden illness.
She was born on August 3, 1935, in Madison County, Indiana to Harry and Mabel (Renner) Scott.
She graduated from Lapel High School in 1953.
Lou had been employed at the former RCA Records in Indianapolis and had recently been a demo lady at Sam's Club on 96th Street in Indianapolis.
Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were her life and she was an avid Bingo player at the Fishers V. F. W.
She is survived by three children, Cheri (husband, Gene) Snodgrass fo Noblesville, Terri Holly of Fishers, and Domini (wife, Liz) McDonald of Leesburg, VA; one brother, Rev. Harold (wife, Donna) Scott of Fishersburg; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Larry McDonald; and a sister, Evelyn Beckert.
Funeral service will be held at 7:00 pm Tuesday, October 14, 2008, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel with Rev. Jerry Snyder officiating.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm Tuesday, October 14, 2008 at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, October 15, 2008, at Prairie Memorial Cemetery in rural Noblesville.
Memorial contributions may be made to Riley Children's Hospital.
