Louise Heiny

Louise Heiny, 91, Spring Hill, TN, passed away Wednesday, March 17, 2010, at NHC Hillside Nursing Home in Columbia, TN following an extended illness.
She was born on April 14, 1918, in Hamilton County, Indiana to Lee and Edith (Eskew) McClintick. Louise was a lifelong resident of Lapel until September 2006 when she moved to Spring Hill, TN with her son.
She graduated from Lapel High School and retired as a rural mail carrier in Lapel.
Louise was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Lapel and had also attended East Lynn Christian Church in Anderson. While in Tennessee, she attended the Zion Presbyterian Church in Columbia, TN. She was active in the Lapel American Legion Post 212 Auxillary and was a member of the former Lapel Order of Eastern Star Chapter 457.
She is survived by her son, Russell Kent (wife, Linda) Heiny of Spring Hill, TN; and one grandson, David Lee Heiny of Lapel.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Alvin C. Heiny; and a brother, Russell Neal McClintick.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, March 20, 2010, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel with Pastor Calvin Walden officiating. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery, Lapel.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Friday, March 19, 2010, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel.
