Lola C. “Kate” Knobloch

Lola C. “Kate” Knobloch, 91, of Anderson, went to be with the Lord on November 4, 2018. She was born on March 27, 1927 in Allons, TN and was a lifetime resident of Anderson, IN. She was retired from Coin King Laundry/ALAC after 15 years of service. Kate was a member of the Eastside House of Prayer and enjoyed cooking and Sunday dinners with her family and friends. Survivors include her children, Greg (Sheila) Walters, the late Pam (Doug) Hagan, Becky McMullen, Steve (Deb) Walters, Tim (Jody) Walters, Nancy (Dennis) Carpenter, Paula Fair, Jeff (Suzanna) Knobloch and Tony (Karen) Knobloch; grandchildren, Brent Hagan, Sheiletha (Kyle) Quinn, Gregory (Cara) Walters, Jeremiah (Tracy) Walters, Angie Walters, Melissa (Kyle) Bertrum, Jacinda Walters, Brian (Emily) Fair, Jake (Jasmine) Knobloch, Kelly Lawson and Angie (Jimmy) Wire; 18 great grandchildren, Tre, Leigha, Callie, Kylie, Kinley, Savannah, Tori, Lidia, Kaidon, Katelynn, Emma, Marlee, Benjamen, Dawson, Ryan, Brandon, Anna, Bryant and many Special friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Benton and Mattie Ray; her daughter, Pam Hagan; husband, Eugene I. Knobloch and first husband, Raymond G. Walters; two brothers, Estel Ray and Adrian Ray; six sisters, Dora McKowen, Ethel May Tincher, Mabel Rose, Veva Mason, Vera Carter and Juanita Wright. A special thanks to Rose Hagerman, Karen Roberts and Tracy Lemon for all their special care and lots of appreciation to Pam from hospice and the 6th floor nurse’s at St. Vincent’s Hospital. Service will be at 12:00 Noon on Thursday, Nov. 8, 2018 at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory with Pastor Jimmy Boicourt officiating. Burial will be in East Maplewood Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday and one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Protection League.
