Lois Shaw Upton Donaldson

Lois Shaw Upton Donaldson, 81, Lakeland, passed away Wednesday, October 1, 2008.
She was born on May 7, 1927, in Akron, Ohio to Ernest and Irma (Haines) Shaw.
Lois had been employed at the former Anaconda Wire and Cable in Anderson for 18 years and after years of being a great Mom, returned to the workplace at Indian Lake Golf Club and Coldwell Banker Real Estate, both in Somerset County, Pennsylvania.
She is survived by three children, Debra J. Whisman of Lakeland, FL, Dana L. Upton of Falls Church, VA, and David S. Donaldson of San Diego, CA; one sister, Naomi Hendrickson of Chehalis, WA; two step-daughters, Laurie and Jan; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and her friend John Means of Cumberland, MD.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, William A. Upton; her second husband, George S. Donaldson; and her sister, Bernice Shaw Sealey.
Graveside will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, October 4, 2008 at East Maplewood Cemetery in Anderson.
There will be no visitation.
