Lois Catherine (Harrell) Oliver, 90, of Pendleton, passed away October 11, 2016 at Rawlins House in Pendleton. She was born April 3, 1926 in Dupont to the late Daily and Myrtle (Grimes) Harrell and was a Pendleton resident for 63 years.Lois and her late husband, Odus H. “Odie” Oliver owned and operated Oliver’s TV Sales and Service and Oliver’s Launderama in Pendleton for many years.She was a 1943 graduate of Dupont High School and attended Indiana University where she was enrolled in the nursing program. Lois was a member of North Christian Church, Markleville and was a past member of Pendleton Christian Church. She was a member of the Olivian Society. Survivors include her daughters, Janet (Tom) Huber of Pendleton and Kathy (David) Swinford of Lapel; four grandchildren, Andrew (Lindsay) Huber of Wickenberg, Arizona, Jill (Jim) Rodgers, Nathan (Jennifer) Wood and Justin (Lindsay) Wood all of Pendleton; eight great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and siblings, Virginia Khert, Marjorie Parker, Maurice Harrell and Lloyd Harrell.Services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, October 21, 2016 at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Lahm Chapel, 211 E. State St., Pendleton, Indiana 46064 with Pastor Tom Malbone officiating. Burial will follow in Grove Lawn Cemetery, Pendleton.Visitation from 12 to 2 p.m., Friday, October 21, 2016 at Lahm Chapel.Memorial contributions may be made to the Pendleton Community Library, 595 E. Water St., Pendleton, IN 46064 or the donor’s favorite charity.
