God blessed Linda Susan Zickefoose a last soft breath with no more pain at 8:43 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 13. She then ascended to Heaven.
Linda was born Jan. 2, 1961, in Anderson, to Norman and Jean (Whipple) Humphries. She was raised in Alexandria and moved to Anderson in 1975 where later she finished her education at Highland High School.
Her employment and travels across the country brought her back to Anderson in 1989.
She was an active member of Redeemer Baptist Church, where she enjoyed the Women’s Bible Study Group, and the Recreational Joy Fellowship. Linda was a lifetime member of Veterans of Madison County, Anderson, where she served as secretary. She was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and her favorite player #43 Troy Polamalu.
For 27 years she so dearly loved her married husband, James David Zickefoose so much.
Linda will be missed and her memories cherished by her parents; brothers, Michael (Judy) Humphries and Larry (Christine) Humphries; and many nieces and nephews.
Linda most recently worked at the Daleville 76 Truck Stop for many years, and Applebees Restaurant.
