Linda Kay Ross Presser, 79, formerly of Anderson, passed away January 24, 2019, at University Place Nursing and Rehab Center in Charlotte, NC after an extended illness. She was born April 4, 1939, in Anderson, the daughter of the late Dr. Guy E. and Helen Louise (Butz) Ross. She was a graduate of Anderson High School and Rollins College in Winter Park, FL and also attended I.U School of Business. Kay was a retired Teacher and later volunteered with Assistance League in Riverside, CA and was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority. She is survived by her three children, Whitney (Patrick) Montoya of Charlotte, NC, Mathew Presser and Michael (Alison) Presser of Riverside, CA; three grandchildren, David Montoya, Cassidy Montoya and Madison Montoya; one great grandchild, Saint Montoya; one brother and one sister, Thomas G. Ross of Anderson and Betsy (Philip) Roby of FL and several nieces and nephews. Service will be at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday January 29, 2019 at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory with Pastor Corinne Boruff officiating. Burial will be in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent Children Clinic in Anderson or Anderson First United Methodist Church.
