PENDLETON- Linda Kay (Shrake) Jones, 79, passed away, September 24, 2020 at her home.She was born on November 22, 1940 in Anderson, Indiana and was a longtime Frankton and Alexandria resident.Linda and her late husband, owned and operated a dairy farm for 30 years.She was a 1958 graduate of Alexandria-Monroe High School and was a past member of Frankton Christian Church. Linda loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents, Vance and Ruth Shrake; her husband, Garry Lee Jones; and a son, Scott Jones.Survivors include her children, Melanie (Brian) Cook of Anderson and Todd (Shana’) Jones of Maui, Hawaii; grandchildren, Clay Cook of Davidson, North Carolina, Collin Cook of Anderson, Miranda (Mike) Metzer of Denver, Colorado, Dustin (Allison) Jones of Pendleton, Sheldyn (Jason) Millar of Pensacola, Florida and Blay Jones of Maui, Hawaii; five great grandchildren; brother, Mikel (Michelle) Pendley of Clay City; niece, Dawn (Shrake) Canaday of Anderson; and a special friend, Jennie Wesson.Cremation was selected with no public visitation hours or services.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Madison County Humane Society, 2219 Crystal St., Anderson, IN 46012.Arrangements entrusted to Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Lahm Chapel, 211 E.
