Linda J. Richey, 82, Anderson, passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2019, her home following an extended illness.She was born on January 15, 1937, in Anderson to William and Mildred (Craig) Gilson.Linda was graduated from Anderson High School and received a Bachelors degree from I. U. P. U. I.She retired from the Anderson Public Library after over 30 years service.Linda loved books, art, and travel, especially in New York City.She is survived by a daughter, Karen Finnigan; three grandsons, Christopher (Stephanie) Finnigan, Alexander Finnigan, and Matthew Finnigan; two sisters, Janet Nolton and Mary (Betty) Atkinson; a brother, John Gilson; and special friends, Beth Judd and Barbara Clarson.Linda was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Everett Richey; a sister, Phyllis Moneyhun and her son-in-law, Mike Finnigan.A graveside service will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery, 6805 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, Anderson, Indiana and burial will follow.Memorial contributions may be made to the Anderson Public Library, the U.
