Linda Darlene Chelli

Linda Darlene Chelli (Bragg) passed away Monday, November 8, 2021, at the age of 72 in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was born in Clarksburg, West Virginia on December 13, 1948 to the late Frank (Buddy) and Dee Bragg.Linda was married to Bernie Chelli for 54 years and was the mother of three children: B. Scott Chelli, Chris Antoni Chelli (wife Julie Chelli) and Ryan Keith Chelli (husband Shayne Small). She was the loving grandmother of two grandsons: Jesse Taylor Chelli and Daniel Antoni (Tony) Chelli and one grandpuppy, CiCi. She is survived by three siblings: Frank Bragg, Mark Bragg and Leisa Mynette Bragg Dearth, eight nieces and nephews and best friends Larry and Diane Clark.She graduated from South Harrison High School in Lost Creek, West Virginia and received a Business Administration degree from West Virginia Business College.
Linda and Bernie moved to Lapel, Indiana in 1971 and Linda was dedicated to making impacts in the community where she raised her sons. A servant of her faith, she was an active parishioner and volunteer at Trinity United Methodist Church, where she was the president of the United Methodist Women. Over the years, her volunteerism at church included leadership roles with The Bazar, an annual fundraising event, Bible School and Food Pantry. She was also a volunteer leader of the Lapel High School Band Boosters.Linda retired from CVS and previously served as a librarian at the Anderson-Lapel Public Library and was a dedicated homemaker who enjoyed gardening, cooking and decorating.A private funeral service will be held for invited family and friends.
