Ms. Lillian Ruth Gwynn

Lillian Ruth Jester Gwynn, 92, passed away Monday, January 29, 2018, in Anderson. She was born August 1, 1925 to the late George V. & Ethel (Hawkins) Jester. She was a 1943 graduate of Anderson High School. Lillian had worked at Delco Remy Plant 11, Indiana Bell, then worked at Sears Roebuck before the family moved to St. Petersburg, FL. In 1981 she started her career as nurse before retiring in 1994. Survivors include her children, Paul (wife, Lieve) Gwynn Jr. & Robert (wife, Kathie) Gwynn; daughter-in-law, Verlinda Gwynn; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of almost 54 years, Paul Gwynn; daughter, Dianne Corbin; son, Michael Gwynn. Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory. Burial will be at Anderson Memorial Park. Visitation will be an hour prior to services.
