Lenora Hannah Phillips

Lenora Hannah Phillips, 90, Anderson, passed away Wednesday, June 6, 2018, at Community Hospital, Anderson.She was born on July 19, 1927, in Dugger, Indiana to Patrick and Stella Gale (White) Mooney.Lenora retired from Guide Lamp after 40 years of employment. She was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church and the UAW Local 663.She is survived by her son, Robert (Karen) Collins of Anderson; step-son, Dale (Lacrita) Phillips of Arkansas; grandson, Bobby Collins of Lapel; step-children, Jeff (Angie) Phillips of Arkansas; and Julie (Russell) Hilton of Florida; brother, Bill (Sandy) Mooney of Pendleton; sister, Barbara Roberts of Anderson; step-great grandchildren, Taylor Wilson and Reece Ward; and several nieces and nephews.Lenora was preceded in death by her parents, first husband Bill Collins; second husband Audie Phillips; son, William Collins; great-grandson, Jay MaGahan and several brothers and sisters.A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, June 12, 2018, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel, Indiana with Monsignor Robert Sell, III and Pastor Al Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 8:00 pm, Monday, June 11, 2018, at the funeral home.The family would like to thank the staff at Community Hospital of Anderson for their kind care of Lenora.
