On Tuesday, June 12th, 2018 Jesus opened the Golden Gates and welcomed Lenina (Earline) Simmons into Heaven. She passed away at Community Hospital, Anderson after an extended illness. Earline was a homemaker. She enjoyed spending time watching TV, like Murder She Wrote, All of the Law and Order shows but S.V.U was her favorite one. She also loved to watch Criminal Minds, telling stories of when she was just a little girl and how she could go and get a bag of candy for 20 cents. Her favorite candy bars were Zeros and Milky Ways. She loved The Golden Girls, Dorothy was her favorite. Earline has always been a giving person. She was always feeding somebody even if it took away from her. She also housed many people that were homeless. She was a very giving person. But most of all she loved spending time with her boys and even her adopted one’s which are too many to name. She was a momma to many. If you were friends with Earline, you had a friend for life.
