Leland Joseph Snyder

Leland Joseph "Lee" Snyder, 69, Anderson, passed away Friday, September 21, 2012, at Community Hospital of Anderson following a brief illness. He was born on July 3, 1943, in Sullivan, Indiana to Fred and Mary Catherine (Kaiser) Snyder. He graduated from Carlisle High School in 1961 and was a veteran of the U. S. Army. Leland was a self employed truck driver. He was a member of the Chesterfield American Legion Post 408 where he had served as commander and treasurer; and a member of the Veterans of Madison County. He is survived by his daughter, Margaret Tana (husband, Robert ) Casto of Franklin, NC; three grandchildren, Cierra, Quentin, and Leland Jareth Brunson; his mother Catherine Snyder of Noblesville; and three brothers, Henry Snyder of Anderson, Bill Snyder of Noblesville, and Jim Snyder of Anderson. He was preceded in death by his father. There will be no visitation or funeral service. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
